Weekly Challenge!

Whew! I know....it's been awhile since we've posted on the blog. Sorry, but things have gotten busy around here with side-projects! But I'm back and will be posting AT LEAST once per week. (Or at least that's the plan!) Today we're launching a NEW IDEA - weekly challenges!!! It might be a sketch, a technique, a product, or something else, but one thing is for sure....it'll be FUN!  And who knows.  If this thing catches on, we might just start awarding prizes too!

The challenge for this week is to make a page (or 2-page layout) using this sketch:

Weekly Challenge - 05/23/2016

Tips:
  • Use this sketch as a basis for the page, but feel free to modify things as needed.  For example, those circles on the right don't have to be circles....substitute other shapes or even embellishments!
  • You don't need to include all the elements on the sketch on your layout.  Only have two photos? That's okay! Not in the mood for journaling? Omit those strips or use patterned paper instead!\
  • Have fun! Be creative! Use multiple patterned papers or a new embellishment.  Try a new technique or bring back an old one.  We want to see your personal style in the layout!
Guess what?  Because this is OUR weekly challenge, we're going to play along too! Use us for inspiration if you'd like.  This is our time to have a little fun too - use new products, try out different page themes, and flex our creative muscles! We'd love to hear what you think too so feel free to comment below.
