"I want to get my scrapbooking done,
but I just don't know what to do, or where to start."

Have you ever said that?
I can say with certainty, I bet every scrapbooking person who reads this blog post can answer with a very definite and resounding"Yes!"
As the mounting stacks of photos get higher and higher, it seems like the task gets more overwhelming and daunting until you just pack it all away. Out of sight, out of mind. Right?

Wrong!
It seems like all of those photos call out to you everyday from that box you placed them in.
Every time you see someone else scrapbooking, you want desperately to work on your own scrapbook projects. You really want to get that
scrapbooking done, but you have lost the motivation to keep moving forward on your scrapbook projects.

I have five simple things you can do to keep yourself motivated so you will get that scrapbooking done!

1.) If possible, find an area of your home where you can leave your scrapbooking supplies set up. You are less likely to scrapbook if you have to drag out your supplies and then put them all away when you are done for the day.  Even if you just put up a very small table in the corner of the room, if you can sit down and work for 15 minutes at a time, you will be surprised at how often you will work on your scrapbooks!

2.) Keep your photos in full view to get motivated.  Don't hide them away in a box.  We love looking at our photos.  That's why we take photos, right? We love the fun memories our photos remind us of.  If you see your favorite photos on a regular basis, you will get that warm fuzzy feeling from the good memories, and that will motivate you to scrapbook
those memories.

3.)  Get a 12x12 scrapbook frame at your local craft store.  Put your favorite scrapbook page in it and display it in your home.  Seeing your artwork will jump start your creativity.  Each time you get a scrapbook page completed, replace the current page in the 12x12 frame.  I don't know about you, but I love looking at my scrapbook pages. They make me feel good and I smile when I see them.  They bring back wonderful memories. When you see the pages you have completed, it will make you feel good about your accomplishments and you will be motivated to get more scrapbook pages done.

4.) Sign up for a scrapbook day or weekend at your local scrapbook store or retreat.  Being around other creative people will give you the creative boost you need to get going on your own projects.

5.) And of course, the best way to get your scrapbooking done quickly and easily is to shop our store!  We carry awesome scrapbook kits that make your job quick and easy AND affordable!
